Patronage Dividends
You won't see many banks sharing their profits with their customers, but we’re not like most banks. When you’re a part of Your Neighbourhood Credit Union, you’re a member-owner and when we make a profit, you get a piece of it. The more you bank with us, the more we share with you – it’s what sets us apart.
We’re pleased to announce that $400,000 in profits was shared with eligible members in the form of patronage dividends on March 25th, 2026! Sharing the wealth is one of our core values and benefits of banking the credit union way.
Please check your dividend account in online banking to see your share. If you don't see a share dividend account, please contact us - you may just need to have your dividend account linked to your online banking or you may need more information on how to become eligible to receive a dividend. We will be happy to answer your questions!
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a patronage dividend?
A patronage dividend is a share of the profits that the Board, in their sole discretion, may choose to return to the membership on an annual basis. It’s one of the things that makes us different than a bank!
How much is the dividend?
The total amount to be disbursed is decided annually by the Board. This year it is $400,000. The amount paid to each eligible member is based on that member’s business with us, and ranges from a minimum of $2.00 to a maximum of $200.00.
Why is the payment capped at $200.00?
By putting a ceiling on the dividend, more members are able to participate in our share the wealth program.
Why is there a minimum of $2.00?
We want to reward those members who make us their primary banking institution. Check your dividend account to see what your share is. If you have a question about your dividend, please contact us.

Postal Service Resumed - Dec 17, 2024
We are pleased to inform you that Canada Post employees will return to work on Tuesday, December 17th, following the Canada Industrial Relations Board’s recent ruling. They will clear out the existing backlog first, and will start inducting new mail on Thursday, December 19, 2024

Due to the ongoing Canada Post strike, paper statements for Comtech Fire accounts, as well as mail from our partners (Collabria, QTrade, and The Personal), will be delayed until the strike concludes. To ensure uninterrupted access to your account information, including statements, please ensure that you're set up for Online or Mobile Banking with Comtech Fire, as well as any partner accounts you may have.
Please note, all payment due dates remain unchanged. We encourage you to stay on top of your payments to avoid any disruptions.

Security Alert: Potential Phishing Threat Targeting Collabria Cardholders - Apr 11, 2024
Collabria has issued a warning about a potential phishing threat aimed at cardholders. There may be suspicious websites which try to imitate Collabria Financial’s official web presence. It presents a significant risk of mimicking Collabria’s legitimate services to deceive cardholders.
Collabria is proactively working to neutralize this threat.
This is a reminder to only access the official Collabria websites and applications when managing credit card accounts or submitting a card application, and to avoid clicking on links from unknown sources.

HSBC Disconnection from THE EXCHANGE Network - Mar 05, 2024
Please be advised that as of March 18, 2024, HSBC will no longer be part of The Exchange Network.
This is due to the pending sale of HSBC to Royal Bank of Canada. Our members will be unable to transact at HSBC ATMs after March 18, 2024.
Please visit theexchangenetwork.ca to locate ATMs that continue to be surcharge-free for Comtech Fire members.

Exchange Network Update
Comtech Fire members have access to over 43,000 surcharge-free ATMs in North America with THE EXCHANGE Network in Canada and the Allpoint Network in the US.
Recently, there were changes made to the deployment of ATMs in certain Mac’s Milk, Circle K and Couche Tard locations. For your nearest Exchange Network ATM location, download the Exchange Network app. Or visit: theexchangenetwork.ca
CRA Direct Payments Now Available on Member Direct Online Banking
Receiving money from the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) has never been easier. Whether you’re due for a relief payment like the Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB), the Canada Emergency Student Benefit (CESB), or the Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy (CEWS) or are waiting on your tax refund, you can set up direct deposit with the CRA to get your money faster.
Simply log in to your Member Direct Online Banking, go to "Account Services", and select "Set Up CRA Direct Deposit" from the menu.
