COVID-19 Update

In light of the Provincial Government’s emergency/stay at home guidelines, members are asked to use our ATMs, or online, mobile banking and/or Call Centre whenever possible for your banking needs.

If your banking cannot be done using one of these virtual channels, please book an appointment with your branch and plan to do as much of your banking in one visit.

Masks must be worn when entering a branch, hand sanitizer will be provided and please maintain social distancing to keep everyone safe.  You will also be required to complete a Covid assessment.

We have also increased our cleaning protocols throughout the branches and ATM vestibules.

We appreciate your assistance as we strive to keep our employees and communities safe.

Temporary Walk-In Restrictions at Both Toronto Branches

COVID-19 Update: To protect the health and safety of our members, staff and the community and to help limit the spread of COVID-19, we’ve temporarily suspended walk in service at our Toronto locations including our King St and Danforth Ave. branches.

The King Street West & Danforth branches will continue to offer appointments & curb-side service but we ask you to call ahead so that we can prepare for your visit.

For the safety of both our staff and our membership, rather than visiting the branch we ask that our members give us a call 1.800.209.7444 or send us an email to member_services@comtechfirecu.com and a branch representative will be happy to assist remotely if possible.

We also have 24/7 access through our Mobile Banking App and our Internet Banking site. Contact us to enroll today.

Please do not visit if you have signs of COVID-19 or have travelled out of the country recently and/or are subject to quarantine rules.

You can access our latest COVID updates, including updated pandemic branch hours of operation in the Covid19 Section of our website at www.comtechfirecu.com.

We thank you for your cooperation as we try to provide you with the great service that you are accustomed to, while keeping our communities safe.

Increase in Limit for Contactless Transactions on Collabria Visa Cards

Effective Date: March 20, 2020 (4:45 p.m. EST)

Collabria Visa Cards are adopting a number of measures to help limit the impact of the Coronavirus on our cardholders and partners. We are witnessing an increase in the usage of contactless Visa payments and in line with this, a desire for higher transaction limits for contactless payments. To support our Visa cardholders in making high value contactless payments at Grocery & Convenience Stores and Pharmacies, we are temporarily increasing the limit for contactless transactions from $100 to $250 (wherever these merchants have enabled acceptance of higher contactless transactions)

This increase will allow Visa cardholders to complete more contactless transactions, thereby reducing the need to touch the PIN pad or merchant terminal when making a purchase, creating a safer and more efficient transaction.
